You should not delay. If your child is missing, conduct a quick search
around the premises, and then immediately call 911 or the local police or
sheriff’s office to make a report. THERE IS NO WAITING PERIOD TO REPORT
A MISSING CHILD. The police will want to know what the child was wearing,
where (s)he was last seen, and will want a recent photograph of the child.
If it is suspected that a non-custodial parent has abducted the child,
the police may want a copy of all custody orders as well
The Nevada Clearinghouse
can be reached during regular business hours at (702) 486-3456.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
also has resources that can assist in the recovery of a missing child.
They can be reached at 1 (800) THE LOST (1 (800) 843-5678).
